Two Workers Killed in Coca-Cola Plant in Orissa

Bhubaneswar: Two workers were killed and six critically injured when a boiler at a soft drink manufacturing plant exploded in Orissa’s Khordha district, police said Saturday.

The accident took place Friday at the plant of Hindustan Coca Cola Beverages at Khordha town, about 50 km from here.

The two workers succumbed to their injuries in the night at Sriram Chandra Bhanja Medical College Hospital (SCB) at Cuttack city, inspector in-charge of the Khordha police station B.K.Jena told IANS.

Jena said the exact cause of the accident was being investigated.
